Just got NL. Installed fine (after I removed my dl folder :)

Now bodyshop won't even start.

Question: How do I make a vampire?

I don't know the creation cheat, but the in game method is to cruise
downtown until you meet one of the grand vampires, acheive sufficient
relationship points and have them bite you. Probably not the answer you
wanted, but just in case it was, there you go.

boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
shift leftclick sim, click "more" make vampire.

OR the old fashioned way... get bitten. Easiest way to get bitten is
to use a third sim to influence the count to bite the sim you want
bitten, or to influence him to bite another sim you know, then use
that sim to bite you.

When you start up Bodyshop there's a new licence agreement that comes up
before the programme finally initialises - I'm guessing you BS is getting
stuck on trying to bring that up. Do you have any settings that disallow
little installation programmes to run?

Best wishes

Were you able to get Bodyshop to run yet? I had never been able to run it.
Something to do with having an Intel chip set. Anyway your post reminded me
about it, so I gave it a shot. To my surprise it runs! Not well, but it
works, and I was able to make a few Sims. Now I will have to go find all
those threads on how to use it that I have been ignoring all these months!!

When I started it up, it asked for a connection to the net before the
License agreement, could that be part of your problem?

Ah - that makes kind of sense but seems a bit sinister too. Does that mean
when I clicked the 'agree' button, somewhere over at Maxis a little
electronic note was made? Anyway, it's a fact that when I ran it, my BB
connection was plugged in. It ran fine - just as usual.

Best wishes

I don't know what the problem is because the "error" message is in
binary code apparently. It still doesn't work. I've posted the code
to mts2 hoping someone can translate it. No reply as of yet. In the
meantime, my NL has stopped functioning as well. I am just about to
the point of returning it to the store from which I bought it.
