Display on acer aspire laptop abstract black and whit

Display comes on with an abstract Jackson Pollack like image rather than normal screen, and computer shuts down in about one minute.

this is why you should never ever buy an acer laptop!
return it if you can and pay the extra cash for an asus or toshiba~!

Look for cracks; and is it more like a Pollack, Picasso, Newman or a Rothko?

Replaced the screen, but now the computer shuts down after a couple minutes of trying to find a boot disk. I have been trying to restore the BIOS, using the files provided on the Acer website, but it still shuts down without doing what it is supposed to do.
