[Q] Compaq Evo n620c (mobile radeon 7500): virtual desktop..

hi,

i'm trying to

* activate panning / virtual desktop, possibly using standard video
drivers; unfortunately i cannot do the trick of "switching off dcc
information use" because the lcd panel tab under video
properties>advanced>display doesn't have this option. anyway, the
resolution bar is limited to 1024x768.

how can i have a (say) 1600x1200 desktop resolution sticking with the
fixed 1024x768 panel resolution? i can't use an external display.

* use mbm5 or similar software to have thermal sensor/fan speed reading,
which one fits best the n620c in your opinion?
