hello i have this samsung LT141X7-124 loptop screen in which i would like to use this as my pc monitor i found it difficult to connect the vga to the lcd cable it got 14 wires in it plus the other group of wires connected to the inverter, thank you.... paul05paul@yahoo.com

Not possible, signaling is TOTALLY different, LVDS cannot be driven by a digital DVI adapter, let alone a VGA.

unless you have serious electrical engineering chops and good diagnostic tools or access to schematics, then this is much harder and more expensive than buying a 17" monitor.
