125w or 95w phenom 955

I have just noticed my local PC store jacked up the price of the 955 and wondered why..... i then saw its now rated at 95w. so from one store i can get the 95w for $124 or from another store the 125w version for $112. I was wondering apart from the power consumption if there are any advantages to the 95w version. does it overclock better?

The lower TDP will overclock a little better than the other model.... Besides that, there isn't much difference.

Not true. The only difference is voltage.

The Black edition processors have a higher stock voltage to facilitate overclocking and are rated at 125 watts. But the silicon is the same, so long as they are the same revision. And they are.
