I am planing on buying a Shappire 5770 for my computer and was planning on hooking my TV up to my computer through the HDMI cable? Will sound also transfer from the computer to the TV with this card? Or do i need another solution for sound?

Yes sound will transfer through HDMI using the card. Just be sure to use the included adapter, and make sure the settings are correct in the audio control panel.

yeah, in control panel, under sound make sure you select HDMI as your sound device.
