Hello,
I have my favorites in a folder on my desktop..how do I get them back in IE....

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Open the folder, from the Edit menu choose SelectAll then Edit again and Cut. In Windows Explorer go to C:\Documents and Settings\{yourusername}Favourites and open the folder. Edit menu again and this time click on Paste then accept the offer to replace or delete duplicates.
