An online Dell Sales Rep just told me a GeForce 9400gt 1GB DDR2 graphics card is compatible with my old Dell Dimension 4100. Is a graphics card the same as a video card?

He was full of something, you require an AGP video ( or graphics ) card, not PCI-E .
