Hey, I never usually buy new ram.. had 2GB for many years, but I am thinking of buying 2x1GB OCZ platinum r2 PC2-6400, for my ASUS P5QL motherboard, and I am finding it hard to know if they are compatible.. I have no reason to doubt it, but I want to make sure.

Also, a side question, the ram I am going to buy is CL4, which I wouldn't be surprised is different from my current ram, will that be a problem if it is?

I'll just check in PC Wizard,

First one is:
1GB DDR2-SDRAM PC2-6400 (399 MHz) - [DDR2-800],
Voltage : SSTL 1.8v

Second one (Which I will consider replacing if it will bring the others down) is
1GB DDR2-SDRAM PC2-4300 (266 MHz) - [DDR2-533]
Voltage : SSTL 1.8v

Hope that helps, I assume from my research of all other DDR2 ram, they are both 240 pin like the ones I am thinking of buying.

I got a good deal from Ebay for them, £30 for two 1GB sticks at 800mhz, never stated the voltage though.. so I hope they are 1.8v...
