Slow downloads on Chrome?

Forum CPU & Components : CPUs Slow downloads on Chrome?

Word :    Username :

I went to download the latest version of Java SE (using the Google Chrome browser) , and the download estimate was 43 minutes. So I went to download it on Mozilla and the download estimate was 11 minutes. Why is this so?

Maybe you have addons on firefox that you don't on chrome? Anyways, if your a "browser tester" you should figure that out for us and find which browser downloads faster. Estimations lie sometimes, My firefox said a 50mb file will take 3 minutes, 1minute and 2 seconds later, it's complete and fully extracted. This thread should of been in Software,Applications

Sorry noobie, im new and i really didnt care wat my username would be (and u obviously didnt care either, "ubernoobie" ) or where this thread should be. Also the estimation time for google was slower than even what it estimated and faster for F-fox, so either way google chrome is slower. BTW addons slow your downloads down rather than speed them up, as ive figured as a "Browser tester".
