Gaming on a 32" 1080p HDTV question?

I am thinking of going with a 32" hdtv maybe Samsung or LG 120htz model but the 60htz models look the same except for movement in movies. How many of you game on HDTVs and are hooked up via HDMI or VGA and using 1920 x 1080 res. Is the text clear as with a lcd computer monitor? Before I pluck down $600 or more on one I want to see how many use one for every day use and how clear is it. Im going from a 24" gateway 1920 x 1200 lcd using DVI Ive had for over 2 years now and its been awesome for clarity... going with a 30 inch panel at 2560 x 1600 is really out of my budget although it would be the best. Thanks for all your input.

Im using the 32" Vizio. The text isn't quite as sharp as with a 24" of course but its acceptable to me. Buy one locally, hook it up and if it don't look right to you, return it.
