I build a system for my computer, its 1 12" Alpine Type R. Whats the best amp to purchase that will make my system work on the computer?

I'm more into Rap, Hip hop, R&B, Soul and those type of music. Price Range $500 max for a amp.

If you are looking to use car audio parts for a PC system, you will probably end up disappointed. If you are looking to use your alpine speaker to its highest capacity, look at Mackie's FR series amplifiers, they will give you maximum power and they don't color the sound too much.

So what do you think would be the best thing for me to do? I was interested in purchasing some Klipsch Promedia Ultra 5.1's, but they are not reliable. The amp is always a failing from all the reviews I've read. The Klipsch 5.1 is the best computer speakers I can purchase for music.

What would you recommend me doing instead for a good system on my PC? thanks alot.
