Okay, I posted a thread here a month or so ago about my completely disfunctional rig and I've now had enough of it. I'm looking to build a PC that actually works as intended.
Or well not so much me. I'm going to order it from a site called Komplett.se that allows you to take one of their pre-set rigs and modify what parts you would like inserted to it.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: I intend to buy it by the end of this week at the very earliest.

BUDGET RANGE: 1000€-1500€

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Raiding in WoW (Gaming)

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers, Monitor and I've got a Vista x64 lying around at home, would be nice to use that.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS:http://www.komplett.se/k/config.aspx?ConfigSystemId=10158 (sorry for it being in swedish and all but it lists the parts at my disposal.)

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Fagersta, Sweden

PARTS PREFERENCES: I'd prefer to use parts from the link in "PREFFERRED WEBSITES" but if anyhting of it is sub-par I'd be up for changing it.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe, if someone is kind enough to teach me how to do it.

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: I got no idea whatsoever.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Max resolution of my current screen is 1400x900 but I might consider upgrading it.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'd prefer a quiet computer that doesn't look like it's been styled by the "the Fast and the Furious" styling team.
But most importantly the reason I'm even getting a new rig is to raid in WoW. My goal is to get a computer that punches out the highest possible FPS in a WoW 25-man raid for the money I'm willing to pay. If you help me achieve this I'm deeply grateful.

Oh and while I'm at it you guys don't happen to know any good fairly cheap router because my current one keeps getting these 1second connection drops Disconnecting me form WoW as often as every 5 minutes some days.

Thanks alot for your reply, I'll take a look at the building your own PC guide here at the forums and the links to the other guides in it. And then we'll see where I stand on the whole "build it yourself" option. Probably highly doable tho. Most PC stuff is pretty much snap this on there and you're done from what I can tell.

Oh and is there any other Chassi you could recommend, I prefer minimalistic ones that dont have a window and five billion random lights:)

Oooh, that first one looks really sweet, thanks for helping out, I got no idea what I should be looking for in a good chassi (or anything else for that matter) spec wise so all my decisions based on anything but advice form here are stabs in the dark.

for a good case you looking a good name brand with least 3 120 mm fans or more (bigger) and space for more, other then that its looks that count

Ok, good to know. Read something about the way the fans are setup for airflow is fairly important but I guess all the "good brands" like Antec and such got that stuff covered.

yeah they tend too have it right

Hmm, Okay so I've started to order parts but not a single swedish company have any graphic card home until 20/11 and tbh I'd prefer not waiting that long. Is there any other GFX in the same class using the same motherboard you could recommend.

The same goes for RAM, not a single piece of that RAM in any swedish computer store that i've been able to find.

Okay, thanks again, so running with any of the above RAM and a HD 5870 would be a pretty damn good solution then?

that would be a bleeding edge pc right now

Yeah, apparently too next gen for sweden, not a single company has any of the 5870 HD, 5850 HD or gtx 285 in nor will any of them have it before 20/11. This is getting annoying. My current computer is so screwed atm I'm starting to have graphic glitches when playing WC3.

Also which "version" is best to get, ASUS, Gainward, XFX or some other?

Edit2: http://www.jmedata.se/PartDetail.aspx?q=p:2586825 they have 2 of those in atm. Seeing as the one and only "important" use of this comp will be WoW end-game raiding. Will that GFX be good enough or should i wait out the 58xx HD ones?

well i'd suggest getting an xfx 4890 for now its almost as good and cost less

Oh for gods sake, guess what, no 4890's either. So does the gtx 275 work with the motherboard and stuff you suggested or should i wait it out anyways?

Thank you, this turned into such an ordeal since all of sweden decided to have no graphic cards home. You have been of invaluable help tho:)

Oh and the only gfx 275 card that was in store was a Gigabyte Super Overclocked, i hope those arent too overclocked and will cause any issues, but eventually i'll probably swap it for a "better" card should the need arise.

If you still need to buy several parts, then take a look at this website http://www2.hardwareversand.de/home.jsp . They deliver to Sweden for a flat rate of €30 but everything is probably cheaper so you'll still save some money.

If you still want the 4890, they have it for €156,81 (which is 1,647.80:- if I'm right?)
