I work between 40 to 50 hours a week so I only play my games about 10 to 12 hours on my two or threes days off. I get into alot of FPS, Strategy and some racing games. I have a 9800GT at this time but I want to replace it with something newer. So would the GTX 260 offer me the ease of no upgrading the card after 6 or 8 months or not. Also it will be the Core 216 edition of the GTX 260 Series. A few games I would like the card to plays it Assassins Creed 2 and Mafia 2 that comes out in 2010. Thanks.

Yes, it shouldn't be a problem.

Those games just might be Direct-X 11! Go ahead and buy the Radeon HD 5770. Should cost around the GTX260 and perform as good.

Although in the first DX11 title around it falls behind a little. [:mousemonkey]

I don't understand why you want to change the 9800gt. It should be fine at the moment. I'd say wait for Nvidia dx11 cards

My 9800GT is acting weird. The fan seems to be going out. There is a clicking noise from the fan during game play and when I shut it down the fan will click.
