Out of curiosity, is it only hacked objects creating problems in the game,
or all custom content (like outfits, and other objects, prefabbed homes,
etc....)? So far I've had no issues with the Living It Up flamingoes,
except maybe sometimes in Neighborhood mode a black bar will show up and
prevent you from seeing some of the shops, but other than that it works
fine. I'm still catching up and trying to find time to play my game, so if
anyone asked this already and I missed it, forgive me.

I had an odd problem, nothing would show up (my objects were sorted by
recolor, new mesh, etc.) unless I put them in the downloads folder without
subfolders. The only subfolder that showed in the game was original item
recolors. Thought it was a fluke so deleted them and put my backup (which
is sorted into subfolders) back in and, once again, nothing but recolors
showed up in the game.

I enabled custom content at the startup of the game so can't figure out what
was wrong or why it won't let me have subfolders for my custom downloads
other than the recolors of Maxis stuff.

Well, I don't think anything is 'giving problems' per se because of the way
Maxis set it up - all hacks and dodgy objects were disabled on installation
(including some Maxis-made objects). Some of the hacks definitely don't
work once they are re-enabled but I'm guessing many of the hacks will need
adjusting for the EP. I've taken mine out for now and will work through and
check the objects tonight.

All my other custom content was fine - all the clothes, walls, floors, roofs
etc. are all still present and correct - it's just the hacks and some
original objects that have been turned off. I've sorted all my downloads
into sub-folders now - I'm very pleased with that.

Best wishes
maxon

You can choose not to disable them. A box comes up and has two small boxes
that you can check, yes or no.

I reinstalled 8 cheats, all globals, no problems so far :)
