HSF for AMD 64 X2 4200+

Hi,

Just wondering if my current Heat Sink/Fan for my 4200+ will work for an upgrade to a AMD 64 X2 6000+, or even a 6400+? What sorts of problems would I be faced with by doing so?

Yes perfectly fine. If, however, the other processors you mentioned come with a different AMD stock heatsink then the only problem you could face is your temperatures being higher if you were to use your current heatsink with one of those processors. I doubt the temperatures will go too high though.
