I've got an Nvidia 8800GT on Vista 32 running a 1920x1080 HDTV as primary display and a 1920x1200 multiple input PC monitor as secondary. It's running in clone mode. The PC monitor is also connected to my desktop computer via the VGA input. It's connected to the HDTV via the HDMI input. I normally use the PC monitor with my desktop.

Whenever I reboot, I have to disconnect the HDTV, which seems to force the 8800GT to recognize the PC monitor, then I can connect the HDTV, and then load my stored clone profile. If I leave them both connected, only the HDTV works, and an attempt to load the stored cloned profile gives me an "error loading profile."

Is there any way to force Nvidia to see the PC monitor during reboot?
