Hello, i just tried my first overclock after reading a few guides arounds tomshardware forums.

im using i5 2500k cpu, ASRock z68 extreme3 gen3 mobo, CM GX 750w PSU

i set it to 4.2Ghz and ran prime95 for a few minutes but im not sure if these temps are fine or not. Can someone please verify if this is a stable OC?

the temps are fine , but if you want to lower them buy a new cooler. my processor was making 95 C when stressed and nothing happend to it .. when i fixed the vcore the temp became like yours - 75-76 C , so make sure its not too high for the frequency your processor is setted right now

Your Vcore looks awfully high. I have a 2500K on an Asus Z68 V-Pro board using a Corsair H50 and it's stable at 1.24V and usually doesn't go over 54c while under load with prime 95.
