Dual core Processor for Intel 775 Server

I am trying to upgrade a SuperMicros SuperServer 5014C-MR server with a P8SCi motherboard. The manufacturer indicates that the process must meet the following criteria

Single LGA775 (Prescott) ZIF Socket
Supports an Intel® Pentium® 4 processor 6x0 or 5x0 sequence on 90nm process ONLY (800MHz FSB) or
Supports an Intel® Celeron® processor with 256KB L2 cache (533MHz FSB)
Hyper-Threading (HT) enabled
System Bus 800 / 533 MHz system bus

Do I have any dual core options that would be compatible with this motherboard. I have identify a couple of dual core processors that at 775, 800MHz FSB, 90nm but I am not sure what the 6x0 abd 5x0 sequence numbers mean?

The last of the pentium range on the old netburst architecture had a number sequence

5*0 & 6*0 where the asterix was replaced by one of several numbers. The bad news is that none of the chips in the 5/6 series P4's were dual core.

Why don't you try to contact the manufacturer to see if they have any upgrade options, such as a mobo, that can accomodate the dual core processor?

They are the experts....
