Thanks Ubrales....
However...Exactly that itself is my concern/purpose....
To keep O.S of the Host 'Up-&-Alive' 24x7 irrespective of any Disk-failure...
I may have put it wrongly...
What i wanted to suggest is ' which RAID implementation can ensure that O.S is totally unaffected by any Disk Failure '...?
With RAID 5 implementation on array of 3 Disks, failure of physical Disk 2 or 3 ( one at a time ) keeps the System intact...
However, no sooner the Disk 1 is ejected ( assuming Ejection acts as Disk-Failure for RAID system ), the System/O.S becomes non-responsive...
Could the desired objective be achieved by implementing RAID 1 ( mirroring ) on O.S disks...???
