I have this really, really annoying problem with my Samsung T220. There seems to be color banding all over the place.
Above is part of a screenshot of a game I usually play (San Andreas).
However, the game is pretty much unplayable with the amount of banding. It's also the same on the desktop. I have another problem with this monitor; booting up is like playing russian roulette - 50% chance of it actually working when I turn on my PC. The other 50% of the time, it switches back and forth between analog/digital and eventually switches to standby.
Any ideas before I go insane?

^ I think the problem is not with your monitor...its with your graphics card...
The current LCDs or say monitors in general are less susceptible to issues...
Post the rest of your config...
I've tried updating my graphics driver to 191.07, but the monitor just constantly goes black and then comes back up, as though I'm setting a different resolution again and again, along with that sound that plays when you unplug something (if you know what I mean).
^ Just check if the graphics card is properly seated...and if it possible to check with another graphics card, it would help...
And did you have any other graphics card previously installed ?
