I have a dell 2350 and I am trying to flash the bios to version A02. I have created a boot disk through XP and copied the flash file 2350_a02.exe to the drive. When I boot I get the message "Missing or corrupted command interpreter and C:\windows\command.com. I can't seem to get past this point. I can launch the flash utility but not much more than that. Any help would be appreciated. I have downloaded an image from bootdisk.com and tried that without success.

Thanks

Get other applications to start you in Dr-Dos mode or something, try other boot makers. They are freeware.

Did you read the instructions for this?

This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then run (double-click) it to unzip the set of files. Follow the instructions to create a set of floppy diskettes, and then use the diskettes to complete the installation.

As you see, just run the file you downloaded, it will create the boot disks you need for you.

Oh I see, copy command.com from C:\windows to your floppy or usb drive used.
