Hi Experts,

I am building a new system for development and gaming purposes. I would need your expert advice on the hardware I have choose for this system.

ASUS P6T WS Professional iX58 Socket 1366 8 Channel audio ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i7 920 D0 2.66GHz Socket 1366 8MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
OCZ GameXStream 850W PSU - SLI Ready, Silent 120mm Blue LED Fan
Asus TA-M21 Black Midi Tower Case with 4x 120mm Fans Included
Western Digital WD5000AADS 500GB Hard Drive SATAII 32MB Cache - OEM Caviar Green
Samsung 22x DVD RW SATA BLACK SH-S223B/BEBE
Sapphire ATi HD 4870 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E Dual DVI
Corsair memory 6GB XMS3 1600MHz DDR3 9-9-9-24 Kit (3x2048MB) RAM
Corsair CMXAF1 Dominator Memory Fan Cooler
Coolit Systems Domino A.L.C Silent Watercooling System

I hope I have covered all the major component. I was bit confused on which mother board to use but finally I decided for WS pro. I hope I have made a right decision. Please advice.

Regards

i don't know if you have experience when it comes to installing a water cooling system, if you don't stay with a good HSF like this

or this

also change the 4870 for 5770, same performance but will give you direct x11 when available.

also all DDR3 aren't all the same regardless the brand, you want cas 7 with 1.65v what you got is way off, this is better

about motherboard this is better for gaming and should perform like the professional if not better.

go for this Hard drive its just faster, and cheaper as a bonus.

and a 850w PSU is more than what you will ever need, 700 will be enough, and you can do better quality than ocz, like this

about the case, get what you like, but sure it will offer a proper airflow, usually we recommend the Antec 1200, 902 and 300 illusion, the HAF 932 and 922 from cooler master, be sure to read around the forum and get an idea what will be more appropriate for you.
