I already have a vista disk to use so that is taken care of. Anything else I am missing to make this a decent build? I intend to use this mostly for gaming so I am thinking I will need a fan. If I royally screwed up on this please direct me on to how I will be able to solve it. Thanks in advance.

I think your build is a bit unbalanced. The gfx card is so powerful the cpu will be a bottleneck .

If you are looking for gaming and value then try pricing a system like

AMD 720 be
gigabyte 770-UD3P AM3 mb or the asus equivalent
2 x2 gig of low latency DDR3 1333 MHz ram [timings of 7-7-7-20 or LOWER ]
samsung f3 500 gig hard drive
5770 gfx card

cases are pretty individual but the antec 300 is a good gaming case and good value esp if you get the models with front fans already installed .

dont skimp on a quality Power supply . Generally the ones that come installed in cases are not that good .
Recently the corsair 650 TX has been the best bang for buck but others to check out would be PC power and cooling , seasonic , some OCZ [ good price ] and antec [ but not basiq range ]
