$1000 i7 Upgradeable Gaming Rig

The Goal
A $1000 rig that will play the latest games for the next year or two without upgrades, and then for another year or two with the addition of a second XFX Radeon HD 5850 and overclocking. (Monitor, keyboard, and mouse not included in price.)

My first build. I'm probably over my head here, but there's only one way to learn how to swim!

Where You Come In
If I put these components in a box and shake them up, will a gaming computer come out? Does my parts list contain any big mistakes? Thanks so much!

Thanks for the advice. Re: the heat sink, do you think I would be OK with the heat sink that comes with the processor until I decide to overclock?

Yea, the stock heatsink should be good for even light overclocking w/o raising any volts.

That case is a good choice...the case is mostly personal preference..I like the antec 900 or 1200.

That HSF will need a bracket adapter for the 1366 socket. If you really want that HSF, this is the 1366 flavor. Depends on your budget really.
