All documents go straight to print queue and will not print?

Hi, I have a Lexmart printer and a few months ago I was messing around with different settings, etc. I couldn't tell you to save my life what area of the computer I was "tinkering" with, but it seems like from that point on, none of my documents would print. They all go to the print queue - except now they aren't even showing up on the printer - it says printer ready and I click print and the menu box comes up and I click ok and send and apparently it is going wherever the lost sock in the dryer goes. First docs went to queue and now I have no idea where they are going. Help please!!!

Here's some links on fixing the print spooler. The ones from "ehow"
