Power supply up or down?

I have purchased the Antec TP-650 power supply and have been a little confused about its orientation in my Antec Nine Hundred Two case. This is my first build, go figure.

There is only a single intake fan which, if bottom mounted in the proper position, faces down on the metal of the case. Is this meant to be a top mount PSU? I can't imagine it'd be normal to intake air where there's none to be had, but let me know if my paranoia isn't merited.

If you don't want to cut a hole in the bottom of the case to supply fresh air to the PSU, mount it fan-side up. It'll work.

Any known problems with taking already heated air?

The Antec 900 & 902 cases have two sets of mounting holes.

You would have the same problems with already heated air from inside the case if your case had a top mounted PSU. In other words, "No."
