Hey all. Can anyone recommend a monitor for less than 200 that would make the most of this rig I'm building? Also, do you think I need 6GB of memory with the current set-up? Or would 4GB be enough? (I know I will need more later when I add another Radeon HD 5850 and overclock.)

Thanks!

I don't have anything as high as that so I can't recommend a monitor. But for the RAM, it's triple channel so you're pretty much stuck with 6. Unless they sell a 1 gig per stick set for a total of 3 gigs, or something like that. Otherwise you won't be getting anything out of triple channel being available.

That RAM is overpriced, I would go with these sticks instead:

I really like this Dell monitor (and it's a great deal):

It's more than $200 but I really like the 26" Samsung monitor/ LCD TV combo I just bought at Sam's club for $350. Just a thought.

Thanks, Ram. But we don't watch TV (too much time playing COD!) and 350 is just pushing it just a bit too much. Thanks for the thought though.

I actually just bought the Dell monitor. It really does seem like a pretty sweet deal. 23 inches for 179.99. Free shipping and all that.
