Motherboards based on nVidia's nForce 680i SLI chipset supports 65nm based Core 2 Quad Kentsfield processors (Q6600, Q6700, QX6700 and QX6800), but not 45nm Core 2 Quad Yorkfield processors. However, for example, with EVGA's 680i SLI boards, 45nm Core 2 Duo Wolfdale processors (E7000 and E8000 series) are supported with a BIOS flash.
