Powersupply help?

I have bought my new rig that is Dual core E6300 2.8ghz+ Asus p5kpl-cm+2GB ram and i already had a HD4650.....I have a 2 year old Chinese PSU(company is e-box) , with 17A (204 watt) on its singe 12v rail....This PSU had been running my previous P4 and current HD4650 from a long time......I want to ask is that can this PSU (assuming that its chinese) run HD4770/9800GT with my e6300...!!Dont forget its 2 years old!!

P.S I am not interested in overclocking any component for now!

9800GT needs about 9 - 10 amps.

I think you need a better PSU.

Don't risk your new rig...
It is generic + it is 2 yrs old.

These generics can't deliver even their rated power at temps like 40-50c at which they usually operate.

So it will be wise...if you get a new PSU....

You can buy a Corsair 400CX:

Or any PSU that you find appropriate from a reputable company.

Don't know what that has to do with it, but agree with others, you should get a new psu

A 4770 needs about 7 amps. And you still need a better PSU.
