Latitude D600 Wont turn on

When i press the power button, a green light with a "A" flashes three times then goes blank, the screen doesn't even turn on either. Please help!! The computer is a Dell Latitude D600 from 2000. Designed for Microsoft Windows XP, with a Pentium M.
