My PC will not let me get back to BIOS setup

Im building my first computer and my computer will not read my CD drive as a boot device even though i selected that as the primary boot device. when i go to the boot menu and it asks me to select a boot device it only shows my hard drive and my floppy drive. so i went to the bios set up and clicked on standard CMOS setup and then clicked on IDE Master. then i changed the Type option from Auto to CD/DVD drive and now it will not even let me get back to the bios setup screen. HELP ME

Reset the BIOS to default settings. Check your manual on how to do that.
Or just take the battery out of the motherboard and wait a bit before putting it back in.
