Does anyone know why when I go on 'Network Connections', when I right click my ADSL icon I cannot click on the 'properties'
I need to go on this to set up my network again, but I can't do this without going on my connection properties.
So im pretty much stuck atm, somebody please help me.
I've recently done some windows xp optimization guides on www.tweaktown.com and I've messed around with some services and registry settings, might their have been anything I accidently changed in their that I wasn't meant to?

Make sure the connection is in fact connected. Also make sure you're not running in a limited access acc't (you need administrator access). You can also try deleting and recreating the connection, then see if you can get at properties.
