This is my first time posting so any help would be appreciated

I plan on buying a new computer in the next few weeks and this is the best I have found for my budget.

Mini-Tower Micro ATX Chassis - Black 400 PSU

Processor

* Intel® Pentium™ Dual Core™ E6300 2.80GHz,
* 2MB Cache,
* FSB: 1066MHz

Memory

* 4GB DDR2 800MHz
* 2 x Memory Slot

Hard Drive

* 500GB SATA Hard Drive (32MB Cache)

Optical Drive

* Samsung - 22 x Super Format Dual Layer DVD ReWriter

Software

* Operating System: Genuine Windows Vista™ Home Premium SP1, 64-bit + Windows 7 Upgrade Option

Graphics

* 1GB ATi HD4850 Graphics accelerator
* DVI, DirectX 10.1 PCI Express
* PCI Express 2.0 x16 Expansion Slot

£376.74

I plan to remove vista and install xp

I have done some research on the 1GB ATi HD4850 Graphics accelerator and many people recommend a more powerful psu. If i do need a better one any recommendations would be helpful.
Thanks for any help

Which is the brand of the PSU?, you could be need a good 350W or 400W PSU, I mean a 400W OCZ, or Corssair, or Thermaltake...

try with this: http://www.thermaltake.outervision.com/index.jsp

With a dual core CPU and 4GB of RAM there is no reason to not use a good 64bit OS like windows 7.

Since it doesnt even mention the PSU, its almost a guarantee that it will be bottom of the line generic trash.
