Hi Folks,

My HD TiVo momentarily pauses every few minutes, mostly when watching Fox
(SD from the dish). Sometimes the picture freezes and there is no sound,
sometimes the picture continues and the sound drops off. If I hit replay,
the problem repeats, which implies that the problem is not between the TiVo
and the TV. Another TiVo (SD) in another part of the house does not seem to
have the same problem.

This seems to be an intermittent problem and didn't used to happen very
often. I didn't give it much thought in the past because it was mostly on
one channel, so I figured it was probably the upfeed or something. Now it
seems to happen on a more regular basis, so I decided to investigate
further.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Thanks,

Ray

Mine does the same thing. Seems to happen most when I leave it on the same
channel for several hours. If I change channels for a few seconds (clear the
buffer) the problem goes away. HTH.
