Hi, i have a little question about my hard drive. Hope you all can help. :D

First, I have a 500gb HDD and it have 3 partition on it, which one is for C drive and the rest is for data.

Since most of the space is almost full and i was considering upgrading by adding a second hard drive, and the question i have is.....

1. Will i able to add space to my existing partition?

2. Can i do it without any formatting?

3. Can i combine 2 hard drive?

Thx for the help :)

1. No you can't add more space to existing partitions, unless you move data on your second hard drive.

2. You only need to format your new hard drive.

3. You can have a RAID 0 configuration provided your motherboard support it. But it may involved formatting / re-installation.

It's best to just buy a new drive, partition/format as you want, and move stuff over. I wouldn't worry about using RAID.
