Since most of the space is almost full and i was considering upgrading by adding a second hard drive, and the question i have is.....

2. Can i do it without any formatting?

3. Can i combine 2 hard drive?

Thx for the help :)

  1. 1. No you can't add more space to existing partitions, unless you move data on your second hard drive.

    2. You only need to format your new hard drive.

    3. You can have a RAID 0 configuration provided your motherboard support it. But it may involved formatting / re-installation.

NO, you CAN'T have RAID 0 on two different HDDs and your new disk will probably be different from your old one. But you may try JBOD.

  3. It's best to just buy a new drive, partition/format as you want, and move stuff over. I wouldn't worry about using RAID.
