2500k stable overclock?

Hey Guys, Not sure how to add a screenshot yet but figured I would ask without it atm. Does this seem like a decent stable overclock?

2500k @ 4.5 with 1.26 V Core
Core 1 55 C
Core 2 54 C
Only been running Prime for an hour with no problems.

Should I push it a little more or wait for more Prime results?

Using CM 212 Evo cooler
AsRock fatal!ty performance mobo
Seasonic 750 watt 80+ gold psu
Gskill Ripjaw X
I am a beginner at this and was also wondering if it is even neccesary to overclock the ram and if so how hard is it. Or should I just leave everything the hell alone lol. Thanks guys much appreciated!

1.26 seems low to me can you try intel burn test should give you a nice blue screen on standard settings if not you should try lowering your vcore and test again
Don't bother overcloking the ram in any way.
Keep you fans 100% when running prime or intel burn test or any other stress test
And try to be more specific with cpu temps vcore or other settings

I could run Prime for 8 hours+ stable at that voltage and it still bsod-ed when i was gaming, ended up increasing to 1.28vcore at 4.5GHz and it was stable.

That is a great overclock as long as it's stable. My 2600K needs 1.32v for 4.5Ghz. Leave the RAM alone and at 1.5v.

Well I have ran IBT a few times now and passed everyone. Very happy with 4.5 but still curious if I could get more out of it. Should I just find the lowest stable vcore from here, or maybe bump it up another 100mhz? Also, on the IBT are the higher settings even necessary? Or is standard enough to check stability alone? Thanks for the reply.

Edit: Tried 4.6 but had to use 1.34 Vcore. Im going to bring it back down to 4.5 and just call it a day and not have to worry about it. Temps are great voltage is below 1.3 and 4.5 is fast as hell lol.

1st thing 4.5 is a nice overclock and you seem to have a golden chip try to find the lowest vcore
i keep mine at 4.6 with 1.38 vcore tryed 4.7 with more then 1.4 but was to much for my taste

You can push more on to that. I overclocked my i5 2500K at 4.7 GHZ at 1.4 V on Vcore with a CPU coller CM 212 hyper plus

1.4v is too high. You will see the chip degrade due to electromigration. The only question is how long it will take to kill your CPU.

that's a good oc bro .. I'm trying to keep it stable at lowest possible voltage .. went up as high as 4.8Ghz on high llc. My vcore was about 1.36 and temps around 60
