Is it better to enable or disable core unlocker for the amd phenom ii x 4 965 on the msi 870a-g54?

There are no cores to unlock on the 965, that feature is for the 960 or Tri-core AMD chips so that option can be disabled.

Core unlocker actually design for phenom I class in order to better overclocking experience..

for phenom II (non unlock processor) or zambezi class, has no effect..

Thanx for the info. I wasn't sure if it had any effect on the cores or not. Good to know.

Hello, i tried core unlocker on asus m5a78l usb3 motherboard. After that usb 3.0 ports didnt work, so if i disable core unlocker from bios can it solve my problem? And is it safe, im new to things like these :p
