I would definitely recommend upgrading the GPU, I would check out the 5770 or 5850 if you can afford it - it's worth the extra money imo. For a HDD: Check out the Spinpoint F3 500gb. This HSF is better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 835103065.

What games do you play and what resolution is your monitor?

Reply to build

I play mostly MMO's and FPS. My monitor is an old crappy one but I plan on upgrading when I have more money.

You can get a 4870 graphics card for $10 more. No rebate but free shipping. It's a way better card.

If you have access to a microcenter, you can get the i5 CPU for $160.

I agree you should get a SATA DVD. SATA is better and you don't have to deal with that fat ribbon.

Everything else has stayed the same except I'm going to buy the mobo and cpu from microcenter because of the savings. I'm just not sure if that psu can handle the system, can anyone help me out?

Reply to ncatanza05

Yes, the PSU will be fine. Now change the ODD to SATA and get the Spinpoint and you'll be set
