Hello!

My computer is a little more than a year old now and I feel it is time to overclock the components to improve it. I suppose that finding a program for overclocking is not the most difficult task. However I have no clue on what settings I should change, because I do not want to ruin any components. Because of this I turn to you guys, who might be able to tell me which frequencies I can choose. The processor was my main thought, but if it is possible to overclock the GPU or memory, that works too.

Here is my setup:
AMD Athlon 2 X4 645 3,1GHz
Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3
Gigabyte GeForce GT430 1024MB
Corsair 4GB (2x2048MB) 1600MHz XMS3
Corsair Cooling Hydro H50
Corsair CX 430W
Optiarc AD-7260S DVD±RW SATA
Western Digital Caviar 250GB SATA
Western Digital Caviar 250GB SATA

If a log of my current frequencies is needed, I can send one.

Thanks in advance!

Well you have cooling performance, what i think- Overclock your cpu from the bios menu, Increase the frequency by low figures everytime, and boot to check the oc, Also, a voltage increase might be needed for higher overclocks.
Remember little by little frequency upping and always check your temps. When that has been done, test your oc, using Prime 95 .
As for GPU- Use MSI afterburner.
