1 GB DDR2 RAM 333 4 Mhz

My PC has 1 GB DDR2 333.4 MHz RAM.Will it support 1 GB PC667MHz?

  1. Wait. 1GB DDR2 333.4MHz? The real speed I'm supposing is 666.8MHz, which would be 667MHz. Thus your PC should be able to support 1GB DDR2 PC2-5300 RAM modules.

    Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

    You PC currently is running at 667MHz, BUT, Why you only see 333MHz?.

    Explanation: DDR means double data rate, the double means that you need multiply the speed that you see by 2. 333x2=666MHz, that is the 667MHz speed that you usually know.

    With that explanation, your current mobo is running with a RAM 667MHz, so, is supported.
