Can I play all the latest games at 1280 x 1024 with medium video settings on this system: Asrock G31m-s, celeron E3200, 2G DDRII-800, radeon HD4670?

The performance in games depend from all system, I mean, CPU, RAM and GPU. The RAM and GPU is enough for play the games with medium details, BUT the CPU isn't good, the Celeron is the junk processor of Intel.

The problem isn't the frecuency, the problem is the processor by self. Don't have a good cache memory, and is a single-core.

celeron E3200 is a dual core. Sorry, it was my mistake I didn't write the hole name: Intel celeron dual core E3200.
So, if this is a dual core will this system work for medium settings gaming?

I would say that you are not going to be very happy with the overall performance of that CPU. Try installing this as a minimun.

I would also say that at the resolution you are talking about and depending on your MB you'll be much happier. Did this system come prebuilt? Is there any OC potential?

These components prices reflect my maximum budget. If I change the cpu I will have to change one of the other parts with cheaper ones. This is what I found about E3200: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/c [...] html#sect0

I think that your processor is:

Intel Celeron Dual Core E3200 2.4GHz L2: 1MB

How I said before, the problem is the processor by self, maybe you could be play the lasted games, but in low details or medium details, but don't in high details.
