Hard disk corrupted, need to recover

Hi everybody, I have a WD 1 TB hard drive which I had partitioned in 8 partsitions....due to some power failure during one such Partiotion resizing, one of my partition is now missing...I can see it as a local disk but no other info as to what size is the partition and how much is used, is unavailable...
not very computer savy, I cannot figure out how to fix it....plz advice.....thanks

I have used recovermyfiles to get my stuff back after something like that. It works better than the other ones I've used but you will still probably lose a bunch of stuff and the indexing may be off. The trial is garbage, but if you know how you can get around that. Just don't write anything to the drive before you recover and you will get back the most of what you lost.

I would try diskgenious, Hdat2, or diskdigger to try to recover as much as possible. The cool thing about diskgenious is you can recover the actual index for free.
