The pins have small tabs on them that when depressed will allow you to remove them from the connector, a small paper clip or the point of a compass works, then replace them in the order you need.http://i45.tinypic.com/s4uaa9.jpg
That worked! The fan is-a-spinning!
Now, whenever I start the computer, it shows the initial BIOS screen, and then it kindly informs the my fan has failed, and the system is now shutting down to protect itself.
I can't go into BIOS setup either, because I just get that failed fan message.
Any great insights?
