Laptop makes clicking sound when plugged into amp

laptop makes weard sound when put into power amp and the sound is muffed out speakers help please.

Depends on your entire system setup and where you plugged in the amp on soundcard, do you have it set to 2 or 4 speakers, is the equilizer on, is the bass boost on in options, if any, is the EAX on and setup ? One time clicking is ok, continous clicking, you have a problem. The connection click is normal. I would try Headset setting in speakers, for AMP, see if that solves it. Some cards have power amps, double up on amps and you can get anomalies.
