I have a zoom hd 16 stand alone system. What would match up better, a mac or a pc?

What do you plan to use it for? MIDI,etc kind of work? If it comes to that, go PC.

Do you want to base your decision on that single use or also consider others?

What software do you want to use on the computer with it? It is available for both Mac and PC?
PCs have a lot more options - are you sure there is software for a MAC for everything you want to do on a computer?

How important is budget? You will generally pay almost twice as much for a MAC as an equivalent PC - or at lease 50% more.

How important is ease of use? MACs are still a little easier to use then PCs

Will you be sharing files with anyone and what do they use? Will they have compatible software?
