Hi everyone..

Names Patrick

Just purchased a few bits to do some gaming and ive never oc,d much... So With youre help Maybee I can get some balls rolling..

Heres the specs..

Amd phenom ii x4 960t Black edition @3.000ghz
Artic cooling freezer 7 pro fan
8gigs Kingston Hyperx blue 1300mhz ddr3 cl9
Sapphire radeon 6850 gpu
Asrock M3a770de mobo
600w psu

Ok so getting excited at the thoughts of a first build, I jammed the thing together and installed windows 7 64 bit.. Away she went and I checked the specs in the bios, All was recognised so I continued... Did a bit of overclocking after reading about and hit 3.9 ghz on the cpu and 2.4ghz on the nb.. Spent quite a bit of time testing but didnt delve too deep but all seemed ok for about that.. Now I did raise the voltages on both the v core and nb but not too excessive and within specs...
Thing is, the ram situation bothers me, I just dont get it man, Ive done hours of reading and keep lookin into thin air, thinkin Wtf are these guys shmokin ;]

All ram settings were left on auto but im not sure if its automatically overclocking them and to what degree.. I wonder if the ram is ok in there or is it going, jesus give me a break ahahaa..

Im willing to settle for a stable oc,everywhere just as long as im not stressing something to a point where its unsafe..

I should add that only a few minutes ago i decided to adjust the memory timings to default jdec 9-9-9 27 and I cant tell the diff...

Bahhh its all so funny... Im out of my league...
