Additional Comments:
What I really want from this is a solid base system (good case, PSU, mobo) to be expanded in a year or two. I am wondering what people think about the CPU for gaming and also the mobo for future compatibility. Basically I want this computer to play games really well for a year or so when I am hoping to upgrade the CPU and GPU most likely something more in the high-end level. Also I am wondering about ram brands I used Crucial Ballistix in my last build and was wonderful for the really cheap price. Also I am factoring $100 for windows 7 in the budget for this computer.

Yeah since my first post i have been reading around and I think I am leaning more towards the 720.

You should go for a MOBO with Xfire capabilities, so you can just get a second of the same GPU down the road, which is a cheaper upgrade path a year from now. Perhaps something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6813131397 IDK what your opinion is of Asus, but I have am a big fan.

I updated the components list.I am starting to think that 770 that Gigabyte makes might not work best as its 8pin connector is so low on the board that it might cause issues with either the length of the cord for it from the PSU (since its a bottom PSU case) but also that it will just end up making it look messy. Also would the 550W be able to handle two 5770's in the future as if it was going to go with crossfire that would most likely be the combo.
