Amd dual 64 gts 250 VERY slow

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000 , MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
2Gb Ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250

My Pc is only getting a 3dmark05 of 2400. Anyone with the same cpu and a 9800 GT or gts 250 are getting 19,000.

Why is my computer so slow?

XP SP3
Latest drivers for everything.
Avast anti-virus.

maybe a faulty gpu? or a faulty psu?
does it give you lags? maybe a buggy software?

It is something to do with temperatures.
CPU 46 MB 31 GPU 55 3dmark06 = 8296
CPU 51 MB 39 GPU 52 3dmark06 = 2082

All those 'higher' temps are well within the normal operating temperatures.

82096 is a bit low, but 2082 is VERY low. My system usually get 10,000 to 11,500 according to the 3dmark benchmark website.

I get the lower temp by taking off the side of the case and having big floor fan blow on the computer.

2082 is the OVERALL score at those temps.
8296 is the overall score at the lower temp.
