Not able to see imaging device in device manager

my computer is compaq with windows xp prof service pack 2. my webcam is not working ..i am not able to find where is my webcam in my system ..and imaging devises are not found in device manager.

You can eliminate a lot of problems by updating to SP3, then applying all hotfixes since then. Staying on SP2 is not recommended, so if you have an outdated OS, expect the type of problem you are having.
